Give all of the people the personalized support they need when they need it most with accessible, effective, digital-first mental health solutions.
Our partners’ needs, our children’s needs, our parents’ needs, our friends’ needs… all come before ours.
Which means that more often that not, we put ourself last.
Since we take care of everyone around us, we don’t really get that time to just sit, listen and be. To truly think about what we want without feeling guilty for doing so.
We define ourselves by the role we play as mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends. We’re so committed to the well-being of those we love, we don’t think twice about putting our needs second.
But when you think about it, isn’t it a good thing for us to indulge in self care? Isn’t it a good thing to take time out to pause — and tune back into what we truly desire?
For me, the answer is a resounding YES!
Self care is a philosophy I’ve lived by ever since I was diagnosed with burnout and adrenal fatigue back in October 2014.
Though I didn’t realise it at the time, that diagnosis ended up being the greatest gift. It forced me to stop. To get back in touch with me. To look after my health. To examine and reevaluate what I needed and what I didn’t.
Along the way, I rediscovered my love for walking.
Walking had been an integral part of my life since I trekked the Great Wall of China in 1999. And it became a huge part of my recovery as I worked on my overall health and well-being.
Today, I encourage women like you to carve out time for themselves through walking. Whenever I take someone walking for the first time, it opens them up to a whole new world.
The good news is that you can start anywhere, anytime.
“An energising and uplifting walk in the forest. I went home relaxed, stress free and enthusiastic about life in general and I’m really looking forward to more of these walks."

“I feel very calm and grounded just after a couple of hours walking, with the luxury of time and space to think. Thank you Heather for making it possible and please book me in for more!"
